Duties and Responsibilities
CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD: Candidate will provide technical analysis in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Test and Evaluation Mission Support Service (TEMSS) at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The candidate will apply his/her familiarity and knowledge of aspects of the technical and operational characteristics of selected Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I); Automated Information Systems (AIS); Information Technology/National Security Systems (IT/NSS); tactical, strategic and other equipment/systems; or joint and combined architectures and standards used by the Department of Defense (DoD) and Government. Particularly, candidate will apply knowledge of customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to the assigned C4I, AIS, or IT/NSS, including legacy systems, and latest trends in related technologies. Candidate will perform technical assignments in the general areas of testing, test analysis, or test management support of C4I, AIS, or IT/NSS. Candidate will perform specialty work in support of information assurance and interoperability testing, evaluation, and certification of Information Technology and National Security Systems.
Education and Experience Requirements
Candidate must have at least seven years of directly related experience in evaluating, analyzing, operating, maintaining, managing, or improving C4I, AIS and IT/NSS performance, procedures, and requirements. Additionally, candidate must possess at least one certification in Information Systems, Computers, or Telecommunications, such as network hardware and software (e.g. Juniper, Cisco) applications and operating systems (e.g. UNIX, Microsoft), voice and data switching systems (e.g. Nortel, Redcom, or similar), telecommunications devices (e.g. ATM, fiber optics, IP), or PC maintenance and repair. One year experience may be substituted by additional certifications. Two years experience may be substituted with a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a related curriculum such as Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems Technology, and Engineering Technology, MS Computer Information Systems, MS Information Technology, and MS Information Systems. Candidate must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of DISA Test & Evaluation Executive Office (TEO) and the DISA Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties. Secret security clearance, at a minimum, is required. Ability to be granted a Top Secret clearance or SCI may be required
Preferences
Candidate may be required to work on multiple Task Orders Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) experience desired. Secret Clearance required. Ability to be granted a Top Secret Clearance or SCI may be required. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be located in the Ft. Huqchuca, AZ area.
